Simple Living was started from fun hobbies to a full career in 1999. We based in Oceanside, California. You may have seen some of our frames in stores and magazines across the country. You also can find us from some arts and crafts shows in San Diego and Los Angeles areas and Trade shows in Atlanta. Please click here for our show schedules. Simple Living picture frames made from wood that have been recycled from old homes, barns, boats & buildings. Our wood frames give customers the opportunity to own a piece of history. We are giving new life to old woods. Along with the unique beauty and character of antique wood comes the knowledge that you are helping to conserve our natural resources by utilizing this recycled wood. 

The beauty of flaws... 
Simple living merchandise is hand made. They may be differences in size and color. This is not a defect but only adds to its character. Most of our wood frames feature a “distressed” finish. The nature of this style introduces variations such as cracks, bare wood, nail heads, knots, color gradients, and other random elements. These irregularities considered normal and intentional impart character to our fine pieces. The old paint chipping off, the layers and layers of paint, the worm wood look of drift wood, the history in old historic home wood . . . these are the imperfection things that add character to the frames. You will enjoy our beautiful frames that will last for years to come.
